Welcome to Day 2 of the Pantone-Inspired Color Challenge, hosted by Heidi and me! Today’s color features Cypress, a gorgeous hunter green. If you want to participate, it’s not too late! Yesterday was a lovely autumn shade called Sangria.

Last weekend, Ashlie came to visit me in Pittsburgh, so we went shopping, naturally. I ended up picking up a few sweaters, including this lovely cypress sweater from NY & Company. I enjoy the subtle high-low hem and the interesting pattern. I am looking forward to layering with this sweater in the winter (though it certainly feels like it’s already here!).

It’s been fun wearing my handmade scarves again. There’s something about the winter and Christmas specifically that makes me want to craft a ton. What should I make this year? I need some suggestions! I’ve been perusing my Sewing Projects Pinterest board and haven’t settled on anything just yet.
